Worship and Ministry

Visit Living WatersIf you or your church have an interest in participating in some activates at Living Waters, please let us know. We will try to accommodate as many as possible. We need volunteers for Vacation Bible School or doing projects around the church. We also enjoy having guests for worship. |
Food Pantry
Many areas of the Appalachian Mountains like the Qualla Boundary, often have limited employment opportunities. This means limited or for folks around Cherokee seasonal income. Because Cherokee is a popular tourist area, income is very cycle oriented...good business during the summer, not so good during other months.
It is important at Living Waters that we share the blessings of the more fortunate with the folks in our community. This is one of the important ministries Pastor Mary Louise started several years and continues to be a blessing to many. We also need nonfood items in our pantry. Folks with food stamps can not buy paper products like toilet paper or paper towels. Support can be in funds to buy what is needed. $150 will help us purchase food for 75 food boxes which can serve 15-20 families. Example of some items...
- Non-perishablefoods like canned goods, cereal, crackers, rice, pasta...
- Toilet paper, napkins, paper towels.
- Cleaning supplies.
- Personal hygiene products.
- Toothpaste and toothbrushes.
Other Needs

Computer programs for Sunday School or funds to purchase such.
- Children educational or entertainment videos.
- Board games for children.
- Sports equipment.
- Drum set, African drums, or bongo-drums for worship use.
- Digital or 35 mm camera.
- File cabinet.
